  • 11/1 Beyond the PhD: Technology Development

    Beyond the PhD is excited to welcome Marcus Duffin, a Co-Founder & CEO of two dental device and treatment companies. Marcus is an entrepreneur, inventor, published author and international strategist whose company partners with pharmaceutical companies, foreign governments, NGOs, and various other partners to bring a non-surgical medical approach to dentistry using medicine and novel low cost technologies. Marcus’s patented technologies have led to a new treatment system that can address the over 44% of the global population with untreated tooth decay in a faster, lower cost, atraumatic, safer and more effective way. He believes that new treatment models and technologies are needed to change the current failed paradigm for managing oral health around the globe. Marcus holds a BS in Biochemistry Biophysics from Oregon State University, a MS in Biomedical Science from the University of Connecticut Health Center, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Portland State University. Marcus will be giving a virtual seminar about his career path tomorrow Tuesday, November 1st at 4PM ET. Registration for the event is free and is open to anybody interested.
