  • 11/12 Global Cultures Conference 2022

A meaningful discussion from subject-matter experts will provide an overview of Global Conflicts and Their Aftermath, as well as how it impacts Economies & Governments, and Cultures. Students will study the war in Afghanistan to discover lessons to be learned and how they may apply to the current Russia-Ukraine conflict. We will ask students to consider the following questions: How would you act in these situations as a leader? What is the best course of action? We welcome all students to join the conversation.

Our mission is to educate students on the world outside of their perception. In addition, we want to facilitate a deeper understanding of each person's role as a global citizen. Attendees of the GCC should walk away with the ability to understand the complexities of international affairs. In doing so, we foster an environment of cultured individuals capable of more profound thought and reasoning.
