Eastern Connecticut Young Democrats is recruiting interns to help get democrats elected in Eastern CT in 2014.
You will:
- Be part of a small team embedded in a campaign for state representative or state senator from the beginning of the Fall 2014 semester until election day (November 4). In some cases, interns will be needed after the election for a short period of time.
- Experience campaigns up close and personal, working closely with all aspects of running a successful campaign for office including voter outreach, media relations, community organizing and volunteer management.
- Be paired with an experienced mentor, with regular check-ins and feedback built into the internship program. This mentor will be there for you to contact with questions throughout the semester.
- Get to know the network of amazing activists, influencers and policy-makers who have made their homes in Eastern CT.
- Get extensive training from experienced campaign professionals prior to your placement.
- Earn credit towards your degree.
