For the 3rd year in a row, the Office of Sustainability is hosting the Haunted HEEP, utilizing our Hillside Environmental Education Park (HEEP). The Haunted HEEP will take place on the Red Trail of the HEEP on October 31st from 7:00-9:30 PM, where we will prepare the trail with horrifying decorations. We are looking for the student body to comprise most of our volunteers, who will scare those participating in our event. The Haunted HEEP also will have refreshments prepared by UConn Dining Services like Apple Cider, Cider Donuts, and Hot Chocolate along with a t-shirt.
We are sending out requests for volunteers, who would be interested in potentially scaring (and thus dressing up in costumes), manning tables, working parking duty, etc... We will be holding a practice event on Monday, October 24th from 12:00 - 3:00 PM and we ask that volunteers attend.
