America Reads is a volunteer program that strives to enrich learning and literacy in students K-12 across Connecticut. At this time, Kinsella High School is looking for volunteers to help with their afternoon program. The program time is 11:15-2pm on Tuesday afternoons, which includes 40 mins to get there, 1 hr 15 mins of volunteering, and 40 mins to get back to UConn. Transportation is provided by Community Outreach. As a volunteer at Kinsella High, you act as a teachers aid by helping out the teacher with whatever they may need, as well as helping students 1 on 1 with classwork.
