Starting Wednesday, September 21, 2022, you will need to connect to the UConn VPN (Cisco AnyConnect) before you access UConn AnyWare while off-campus.
UConn AnyWare is our virtual software delivery service that lets you use software online. You currently log into AnyWare with NetID credentials. We have observed that attackers have used stolen credentials to exploit UConn AnyWare for malicious activities. By requiring off-campus traffic to go through the VPN, we can better detect and prevent misuse of the service.
