UNISSN, the Native American Cultural Programs peer mentoring program, is now accepting mentee applications for incoming first-year and transfer Native and Indigenous students. UNISSN will pair incoming students with continuing student mentors for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The goal of UNISSN is to provide the connections and resources necessary to thrive while adapting to the new academic, extra-curricular, personal, and social challenges of college, including being away from your tribal community. UNISSN will foster a community at the university where students can explore the campus, embrace their Indigeneity, and get involved.
