Volunteer Opportunities

  • Semester Long Volunteer Opportunity with MACC

Are you passionate about advocating for food security, housing security, and increased access to basic needs? Do you need service hours? Are you interested in helping our community?

    Look no further!

Manchester Area Conference of Churches, MACC, is devoted to building partnerships to help break cycles of poverty affecting our surrounding communities. They provide food, shelter, clothing, and advocacy for the unmet needs in our community. One goal at MACC is to develop sustainable volunteer teams consisting of individuals who would like to use their unique talents to serve and advocate for clients at MACC.

Here at UConn, our program sends volunteers once weekly throughout the semester to assist in either the soup kitchen, food pantry, or thrift shop. Transportation is provided both ways! No prior experience required! If interested, please fill out this form by Septrmber 16th at 11:59 PM.
