Volunteer Opportunities

  • Husky-for-a-Day is Back Be a Husky Ambassador

Husky-for-a-Day is Back! Join the Husky Ambassador Program!

Do you love UConn? Do you want to share your stories, experiences, and Husky pride with a prospective student? Are you looking for volunteer opportunities in the community? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you will love being part of the Husky Ambassador Program!

Husky Ambassadors assist the Office of Admissions by hosting prospective students during our Husky-for-a-Day visits and serve as greeters for our Open Houses and campus tours. You will be able to share your Husky pride and recruit the next generation of UConn Huskies on days that you choose to volunteer – gaining interpersonal skills, volunteer hours, and building community ties.

If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about the program, please fill out the interest form and attend one of our Fall 2022 Training Sessions. These sessions only need to be completed once and will give you all of the information you need to volunteer for any of the Husky-for-a-Day events throughout the year. No RSVP is required, just attend whichever training best fits your schedule!
