The UConn Swap Shop is a newly approved student-led initiative which will provide students with a new and exciting trendy secondhand store. The swap shop will be the first ever secondhand store to open on campus. We will have inclusive clothing for all sizes with a range of unique styles. We will also have recycled dorm essentials students may need to comfortably transition to college life. Students will be taught how to upcycle clothing and learn basic sewing techniques. The Swap shop opens on Thursday September 8th, & this will be the place to be. Whether it be working at the store, swapping, or attending sewing workshops and other fun events. Due to setbacks students will not be able to purchase clothing at this time but will be able to swap clothing for free. Although students will not be able to purchase anything in the store they are able to purchase items from sponsored entrepreneurs featured in the store, such as Kizerskollection, who will have a clothing rack available for students to purchase from in the meantime. We look forward to seeing you at the coolest place on campus.
