The Center for Quantitative Medicine at the UConn Health Center in Farmington is offering a bioinformatics short course for university, hospital, and industry clinical and translational researchers, educators, clinicians, and students interested in bioinformatics tools and data analysis methodologies specific to gene expression microarrays, e.g. Affymetrix® or Illumina® platforms. The one-day workshop will include a combination of lectures and hands-on computer activities using R and Bioconductor open source software environments for data analysis in the Computer Education Center within the Stowe Library.
Space is limited to 19 participants on a first-come, first-served basis and is expected to fill quickly! Currently, a small number of seats are still available for UConn or UConn Health students. This is the final week to register for the workshop. Register today.
