English Language Learners (ELL) Family Literacy Program is an organization that tutors local adult students learning English as their second language. Through ELL, local students are able to develop their English reading, writing, and verbal skills. UConn students work alongside community partners to provide individualized engagement and promote collaborative learning environments for these students. ELL provides the opportunity to experience different cultures, form relationships, make new friends, and gain valuable leadership skills.
