Auditions for placement in the UConn Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Lab Band and jazz combos will be submitted electronically. Audition specifications are outlined at: https://music.uconn.edu/ensembles/ensemble-placement-auditions/
Video-recorded auditions must be uploaded before 5 PM on Thursday, Sept. 1.
Selected students will be issued permission numbers to register. UConn big bands rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 - 3:45 pm. Jazz combos meet on Mondays from 5 - 7 PM and rehearse independently.
Openings for: trumpet, saxophones, trombones, piano, guitar bass, drums.
