Invitation to Participate: Celebrate Mansfield Festival

The Mansfield Downtown Partnership invites UConn departments, programs, and student organizations to join in the fun at the 19th Annual Celebrate Mansfield Festival!
The Celebrate Mansfield Festival will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on and around Betsy Paterson Square in Downtown Storrs. (In the event of rain, the Festival will be held inside E. O. Smith High School.)
Featuring hands-on activities and games for all ages, a juried craft show, food booths, music, puppetry, and more, the Festival is a celebration of the best of Mansfield. It is a true “town and gown” affair with extensive support from both the Town of Mansfield and the University.
We invite you to participate by:
- Hosting an Activity Booth: A fun opportunity to connect with community members; Cost of a 10’x10’ booth: $25; Sign up by Friday, August 19
- Hosting a Food Booth: A great way for groups to raise money for their organization (only option for fundraising at the Festival); Cost of a 10’x10’ booth $25; Sign up by Friday, August 19
- Volunteering: There are opportunities throughout the day for individuals or groups to help make the Festival a success; Documentation of service is provided upon request; Visit downtownstorrsfestival.org/volunteers for more information
After a reimagined celebration in 2020 and a reduced capacity event in 2021, we are excited to return to a full format for this year’s Celebrate Mansfield Festival and hope you will join in the celebration!
