Cross-Cultural Difference in Overconfidence and Influence of Holistic-analytic Thinking
This study was conducted in collaboration with East China Normal University. Our research is trying to figure out whether and what differences exist in level of overconfidence between people of different cultural backgrounds.
You will be asked to answer some questions of common knowledge.
Approximately 7-10min (for study 1)/15-20 min (for study 2) will be taken.
Eligibility Requirements:
l Age 18-40
l Received and completed middle school level education
l Not majoring in psychology
l normal vision, no mental illness, no severe brain injury; no dyslexia
Participants will receive $2 Amazon eGiftcard for Study 1 and $4 for Study 2.
