We are UConn’s chapter of Partners in Health Engage; the grassroots branch of Partners in Health, an international organization that provides high quality healthcare for the poor. Our work focuses on advocacy, fundraising, and community building.
From 4/24 to 4/30, we are holding a virtual stride event to support the life-saving work of Partners in Health, raising funds for the Maternal Center of Excellence. Walk/run in solidarity with the more than 8000 community health workers that deliver healthcare to the most poor and marginalized people on the globe. You can have the application open and walk or run anywhere. The minimum would be 3.1 miles or 5k, totaling in 6 days.
