RSVP for the 2022 Community Ride Day here
Community Ride Day is back, on Sunday April 10th from 1-4 pm. The event will begin at the start of Fairfield Way in front of the Student Union.
Join us at 1pm for our opening speakers Tony Cherolis from BiCi Hartford and Kai Addae from Bradley Street Bicycle Co-Op. We encourage participants to start the route using any mode of human powered transportation (biking, roller skating, skateboarding, scootering, etc.) between 1:30 PM and 4 PM. The full route is available to view on the RSVP form.
Bikes can be rented through the UConn Rec’s CycleShare Program, or participants can bring their own transportation. If you choose to rent through the CycleShare Program, you will be responsible for filling out a form at UConn Rec and picking up the bike for the event. All participants will receive prizes for completion of the course like helmets, bike gear, reflective equipment, and more. Participants that complete the route and activities will also be entered to win one of the grand prizes! This could include electric scooters, full size bikes, skateboards and more.
