Want to learn how WE as a community can embrace our cultures and help create positive systemic changes in our future generations? Come join Teach for America on Tuesday, APRIL 5TH from 6-7 PM for a friendly VIRTUAL discussion on how your culture shaped your educational experience at UConn and/or growing up and talk about ways we can bring more cultural awareness in classrooms to strive towards educational equity and inclusion. You will also have the chance to learn more about Teach for America and what we do as a non-profit organization!
We will have 5 wonderful panelists join us from different UConn South Asian cultural dance teams to speak about their experiences, and the FIRST 25 PEOPLE to sign up for this event AND show up will be receiving an Uber Eats Voucher!! BONUS: This event is OPEN TO ALL, but is ALSO an honors event! Check your "Updates in Honors" emails if you are an Honors student for more information :)
