Dear gardeners, cooks, eaters, readers, writers, creators, explorers of UConn;
Seniors and recipients of a 2021 UConn Change Grant, Sarah Platt and Seema Patel, are seeking motivated and passionate UConn students and faculty members to help edit a community cookbook that they have put together to celebrate the diverse cookery of CT shoreline residents.
If you love reading recipes, fact checking, and editing, this might be just the right volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteers will be assigned between 2-4 recipes to look over between March 25 to April 15th, and your names will be added to the cookbook's acknowledgements page.
To sign up to volunteer complete this form: https://forms.gle/TUrJtGXkgzxLXAzt6.
This cookbook is one of many projects undertaken by participants involved in Sow Grow Savor, a UConn IDEA Grant-funded intergenerational program. To learn more about this program visit https://sowgrowsavor.dining.uconn.edu/ or contact sowgrowsavor@gmail.com.
