It can be difficult to understand what politicians do on a day-to-day basis. Through UConn Community Outreach Political Engagement's Elected Official Speaker Series, you will gain a more understandable view of what the life of an elected official looks like. Join us as we hear about Representative Hayes' journey to her position, what she does day to day, her legislative process, and how she makes her decisions. This event will give UConn students a better idea of the electoral process and make politics feel more tangible and connected.
