  • 3/11 Recent Advancements in Drug Delivery Seminar

The AAPS (American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists) student chapter at the University of Connecticut is bringing together experts from academia, pharmaceutical industry, and regulatory agency to analyze and evaluate the latest advancements in complex controlled release systems, including the addressing formulation challenges of ionic liquid-based therapeutics, considerations in development and evaluation of in vitro drug release of complex products containing particulates and long-acting injectables (e.g., emulsions, micelles, nanosuspensions, liposomes, microspheres, etc.), and development of novel polymer technologies for overcoming challenges to successful commercialization of long-acting implants.

The AAPS student chapter at UConn invites you to join our virtual seminar on 11th March, Friday at 2:30 pm EST. The seminar will feature Dr. Samir Mitragotri (Hiller Professor of Bioengineering, Harvard University), Dr. Stephanie Reed (Director, Translational Product Development, Secant Group), Dr. Xiaoming Xu (Lab Chief, Division of Product Quality Research, CDER, US FDA), and Dr. Xujin Lu (Scientific Director, Drug Product Development, Bristol-Myers Squibb) to share their exciting research and provide their expert opinions.

The seminar is open to all undergraduate, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
