This semester, TEDxUConn wants to hear what UConn students have to say about the things going on in our world, so we’re hosting a series of events called Salons. These events consist of a selection of TED videos that we watch and discuss together as a group. This week's Salon event is the finale to our Human Rights Month, and we'll be attempting to unpack ideas of world peace, humanity, and activism. Come share your thoughts with us on Monday, at 7pm in Rowe (CUE) Room 134.
TEDxUConn Salons are held weekly on Monday nights, and each will be focused around a particular theme. Every week, we watch several TED Talks related to our theme, and then we talk about them. Certain weeks will also be accompanied by workshops, activities, and faculty panel discussions.
