  • 4/11 Come See Why 'Rest is Revolution'

Mark your calendar; UConn will explore rest as a form of social change and challenge burnout for the first time through Rest is Revolution: UConn's Week of Reflection.

Rest is Revolution, inspired by activists like Audre Lorde and Tricia Hersey, will give students a rest space on the Student Union Green they can utilize during April 11th-15th as well as a series of guided wellness, leadership, and community development sessions. This project will also include free and accesible meditations through Spotify, student-made podcasts on the history of liberation through rest, sound baths, and the opportunity for students to invest in themselves by divesting from constant busyness.

If you're interested in joining a Rest is Revolution wellness session, fill out this short form to recieve an invite! You can find updates on LinkedIn and soon on our Instagram, @restisrevolution. Thanks to USG, the UConn Foundation, NAACP at UConn and our other partners for bringing this to life!
