America Reads is a volunteer program that aims to enrich literacy and overall academic achievement for students K-12. Kinsella High School is currently seeking fun, motivated volunteers to assist high school students; you will be acting mostly as a teacher's aid, doing tasks such as passing out paperwork and helping students 1 on 1 with independent classwork. Kinsella High volunteers will go to the site on Fridays, leaving UConn at 8:05am, tutoring from 8:45-9:45am, and arriving back at UConn at 10:30am. Transportation will be provided to you by UConn and no tutoring experience is required.
