URGENT HELP NEEDED - $18/hour
When: next week (2/14) - Weds Thurs and/or Fri, likely the following week (2/21)
The City of Meriden and CT DEEP are conducting a new waste pick-up co-collection pilot program, where participants are asked to separate food scraps from their trash and put them in a separate bag for collection. The pilot started last week and we need help with additional outreach. We are looking for teams of 2 to follow the collection trucks in Meriden next week (2/14) on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday starting at approximately 5am until 12pm. Once the cart is emptied, you will place a cart tag on the cart and record on the tracking log.
All participants will be paid $18/hour. Drivers will receive additional pay for mileage reimbursement. There also might be future opportunities to work on upcoming pilots in other CT cities.
