The Office of Sustainability will be hosting our annual Green Game Days for UConn Basketball! These are carbon-neutral games that are devoted to educating fans about sustainability.
- Men's Basketball: Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at 12 Noon
- Women's Basketball: Sunday, February 27th, 2022 at 2PM
Your job as a volunteer will include greeting fans at the entrances and educating the public at trash/recycling bins as they discard their waste. You will get to watch some of the game and afterwards we will collect leftover recyclables from the stands. All volunteers will get a free Green Game Day T-shirt!
Proof of vaccination will be required at the entrance, and volunteers must wear a mask for the duration of the event. This is a great opportunity to gain 5 service hours for your club or organization!
More information will be provided to volunteers closer to the game. Can't wait to see you there!
