Are you an older adult in good health?
We are currently recruiting participants for a paid research study that is evaluating pain sensory among healthy older adults. Participation will include undergoing a sensory assessment, and completing questionnaires about your pain and symptoms over 12 weeks.
What is asked of participants?
• Undergo a sensory assessment
• Complete questionnaires about your pain and symptoms
• Provide blood, saliva, and stool samples
• Make 3 in-person visits during 12 weeks
Am I eligible:
You may be eligible if you:
• Are ages 50 years or older
• Are able to speak and read English
• Are in good health
• Did not have a history of chest pain, coronary heart disease, and heart failure
Will I be paid for participating?
Yes, participants will receive up to $75 for participation in this study.
Where are the locations for recruitments?
The study includes two visits to the UConn School of Nursing in Storrs OR UConn Health in Farmington.
