Join the Undergraduate Student Government’s Sustainability Subcommittee this Spring!
USG's Sustainability subcommittee is dedicated to addressing intersectional environmental issues on campus and statewide through advocacy, education, and inclusion. The subcommittee is part of a network of four Student Services subcommittees including Transportation, Sexual Health, and Mental Health. USG prioritizes collaboration across the organization and between other environmental groups to help foster a culture of sustainability and collective action. Our focus initiatives for the spring include climate advocacy, efforts to promote environmental justice, and sustainable purchasing policy.
The Sustainability Subcommittee offers opportunities for research and event planning to any and all UConn students. Its initiatives aim to make a long-term impact at the local and state level, and we are excited for you to join us!
