    Hey Huskies!

We are excitedly looking forward to having our beloved UConn students back on campus. However, your health and wellness is our top priority and will determine if our campus can stay open for in-person classes and events. To this end, the university has instituted a COVID-19 booster shot requirement for returning students this Spring 2022 Semester. It is important that you determine your eligibility for a booster shot.

You are eligible to receive a booster shot five months following a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, and two months after a Johnson and Johnson vaccine. You can schedule a vaccination appointment through UConn’s Student Health and Wellness at myhealth.uconn.edu or search for a vaccination location near you at vaccines.gov/search. More information can be found here.

I also invite you to participate in our newly launched #GetBoostedUConn social media campaign. Use the hashtag #GetBoostedUConn to share the events and activities that you are most looking forward to attending or participating in after you receive your booster. The first 25 students who post on social media and tag UConn’s Student Health and Wellness account will receive a T-shirt.

Now, that I’m boosted, I plan not to miss out on XX [e.g., UConn basketball games]. What about you? Please get your booster shot, share the social events and activities you are excited about engaging in, and encourage a friend to get boosted.

We can all take pride in the fact that getting boosted protects our campus community and ensures that students can enjoy the in-person events that are an integral part of our campus life. UConn is counting on you to get boosted. I look forward to seeing your social media posts!
