Apply to be an Asian/Asian American Mentoring Program (AMP) Mentor for the 2022-2023 academic year!
An AMP Mentor is an individual who emphasizes social and academic support to their assigned mentees. An AMP mentor will uphold the values of the Asian American Cultural Center and serve as a role model. As a mentor, you will attend mandatory training in the Spring 2022 semester, prior to the Fall 2022 semester, and beyond to develop leadership and social skills to better help your mentees as they start their journey at UConn. New mentors will be expected to enroll in a class during the Fall 2022 semester with the director of the Asian American Cultural Center, Angela Rola.
No prior experience is necessary and prospective mentors will be required to complete an application and interview prior to matriculation into the 2022-2023 AMP Mentor cohort. We look forward to seeing you soon!
