  • People Who Do and Do Not Stutter: Paid Study

    Volunteers are needed to participate in a research study investigating how people who stutter process different types of sounds. Participants will complete a few short questionnaires and listen to different sounds and make decisions about them. Both people who stutter and people who do not stutter are encouraged to participate.

     

    This study will take place remotely and will be completed in one session lasting roughly 30-45 minutes.

     

    Participants will receive $11.25 for participation in this study in the form of a virtual Amazon gift card.

     

    Requirements: If interested in participating, you must:

    (1)  Be between 18 and 45 years of age

    (2)  Be a native, monolingual speaker of American English

    (3)  Have no hearing impairments

    (4)  Have no history of neurological impairment

    (5)  Have no history of speech or language impairments (other than stuttering, if applicable)
