The Academia-Industry Opportunities Group (soon rebranding to “Beyond the PhD”) is excited to welcome Jason Torres, a Senior Clinical Research Associate at Roche Diagnostics. A Connecticut-native, Jason obtained his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut, while actively researching women reproductive health via a Drosophila model system. After his undergraduate degree, Jason pursued his Master of Sciences Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of New Haven researching resistant forms of B. burgdorferi, the Lyme disease causing bacteria. Jason will be giving a virtual seminar about his career path TODAY, November 15th, at 2PM EST. Registration for the event is free and is open to anybody interested.
