  • Leadership Certificate Series Facilitator Position

    Leadership & Organizational Development is looking for 2-3 undergraduate students to be a Leadership Certificate Series Facilitator for the Spring 2022 semester. Workshop facilitators are undergraduate students who lead our Certificate Series workshops and prompt engaging discussions with workshop participants. In addition to this, they also participate in other leadership development opportunities outside of these workshops. 

    This is a great leadership opportunity for anyone that would like to improve their skills in public speaking and facilitation while learning about leadership topics and concepts. As well as those looking for a first-time leadership position on campus or for those that simply want to continue their leadership journey! 

    This position is a paid employment opportunity and a 5-8 weekly hour time commitment in the Spring 2022 semester. Applicants must be a full-time, undergraduate student at the UConn Storrs campus in good academic standing. You do not need to have any prior facilitation experience to qualify for this position. 

    Some key responsibilities of workshop facilitators include:

    • Assisting in the planning and coordination of the Leadership Certificate Series workshops.  

    • Facilitating or co-facilitating weekly workshops (either in-person or virtually). 

    • Identifying opportunities to enhance/improve participant experiences in the Leadership Certificate Series. 

    • Participating in ongoing professional development and weekly coaching meetings.
