Over the past months, the institute directors from the Africana Studies Institute, Asian and Asian American Studies Institute, American Studies Institute, El Instituto, Native and Indigenous Studies, and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies have been gathering to discuss the possibility of coming together in a new, unified formation.
