Do you love giving back to your community? Are you looking for volunteer opportunities? The Mansfield Senior Center is looking for volunteers this semester through UConn’s Community Outreach. We have several service opportunities available including crafting, knitting, games, and the Receptionist position that are waiting for volunteers of all talents and interests. There are time slots all week days for 1-3 hours at various times, so you have plenty of options to find something that works with your schedule! The Seniors love having us there, and it is a great way to experience working with a different population and to form close bonds with older adults. Transportation to and from the Senior Center is provided by the University.
