Participants are needed for a paid research study! The study will evaluate the benefits of movement exercise for someone experiencing back pain.

Do you have chronic low back pain?

We are currently recruiting participants for a paid research study that is evaluating the benefits of movement and a physical activity intervention among people with chronic low back pain. You will receive 12 weeks of free movement-based sessions. In a community setting, similar programs and classes are valued at $360 or more.

    What is asked of participants?

Participation includes completing questionnaires about your plan, 12 weeks of group-based classes twice per week to learn and practice a physical activity intervention, providing a blood sample, practicing 20 minutes per day at home, and making 5 in-person visits.

    Am I eligible?

You may be eligible if you are age 18+, have had low back pain for at least 3 of the last 6 months, have not practiced movement-based exercise in the past 12 months and are willing to attend 12 weeks of movement exercises, and are able to speak and read English.

Will I be paid for participating?

Yes, participants will receive an exercise mat and up to $300 for participation in this study. Additionally, you will receive 12 weeks of free movement-based class sessions.
