SPAN 3124: "Minrities, Conversion, Inquisition, and Exile in Early Modern Spain" is an upper level undergradate course taught in Spanish.
The course offers a general vision of the premodern history of Spain (600-1700), an introduction to historical sources, classical literary texts, and some of the most exciting recent studies of the period. Themes include: Inquisition, forced conversion, forced migration, Jews, Muslims, converts, and assimilation.
