LABORATORY ASSISTANT

The Molecular and Cell Biology Department is seeking to fill a 10-month Laboratory Assistant position. The successful candidate will provide support for undergraduate teaching laboratories in the department. Assists faculty in the care, use, and maintenance of animals, plants, chemicals, and/or reagents used in research and/or teaching. The estimated start date is September 24, 2021, and expected work hours would be Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm which includes one hour for lunch.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, 10-month permanent position with a one-year probationary period, and a full range of medical, dental, and retirement benefits. The tentative start date will be September 24, 2021.
The anticipated hiring salary range will be in the low to mid forties.
