    About Amanda Coletti: Amanda is a 4th year PhD student in the Department of Communication. She completed her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at Connecticut College and her M.S. in Physiology & Neurobiology at UConn! In her second year of grad school, she took a science communication course that sparked her passion for science communication and storytelling. Currently, she is study how to train scientists to tell stories about their research and experiences in STEM. Amanda is also interested in how telling stories about STEM experiences influences engagement and identity. Fun facts: Amanda is a story slam-winning storyteller and haa performed for The Story Collider and Speak Up Storytelling. Her favorite dairy bar ice cream flavor is Moose Tracks and in her free time she enjoys reading mystery novels, cooking, baking, and aerial yoga.
