Are you interested in community service and leadership? Community Outreach has an available position for the Program Director for Campus Wide Initiatives. A student in this role will work closely with the student coordinator and staff supervisor to plan and implement campus-wide service events. Past events have included MLK Day of Service, Day of Caring, and Give & Go.
This is a great opportunity to build your leadership skills with the ability to create new events as part of the Community Outreach team. The Program Director will also have input in building a committee to assist them with planning events.
Responsibilities include:
Meeting with student and staff coordinator biweekly
Attending biweekly Community of Practice meetings (with other student leaders)
Attend monthly professional development events/dinners
Recruiting volunteers for events
Planning volunteer events with support from student/staff coordinators
