Are you interested in studying abroad in Italy? Are you looking for a place to practice the Italian you already know, or have you been wanting to take Italian since you've been at UConn and never had room in your schedule? A new summer program through the Italian section of the Literatures, Cultures and Languages department is the answer: 5 weeks, from May 25 to June 28th, in Parma and Elba, Italy. Students will have the opportunity to explore two different regions of Italy and earn 6-7 UConn credits while doing so. Course offerings include different levels of Italian language classes (even beginning--prior knowledge of Italian is NOT required!) and a gen ed, content area one course on the history and culture of the two regions.
