Scholarship & Award Announcements

  • Grad School in the UK/Ireland? That's a thing?

Every year, UConn graduates fan out across the globe to enroll in graduate programs funded by the Fulbright U.S. Student program and other prestigious, nationally-competitive scholarships and fellowships.  This information session highlights some of the most established programs supporting postgraduate study in the United Kingdom and Ireland:  the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, and Churchill Scholarships, and the various opportunities available through Fulbright.

All of these scholarship opportunities are open to rising seniors and recent graduates (including members of the Class of 2021!) and fund one, two, or three years of study. All but the Churchill (which is geared toward STEM candidates) are open to students in any academic discipline.  The session will provide information about eligibility requirements, focus of the scholarships, and what makes a competitive candidate.  Pre-applications for some of these awards are due to ONSF by May 31, so now is the time to begin planning.  Please visit the links above for more information on the campus process, which will also be discussed at the info session.

This virtual information session was originally held on April 22, but a recording may be found on ONSF's YouTube channel for students who were unable to attend the original session.  JUST CLICK HERE to view the video.
