  • 4/30 Arbor Day: Class of 2021 Tree Has Been Planted

    Happy Arbor Day, UConn!

Arbor Day is an annual holiday that celebrates trees. Individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees and to promote their upkeep and preservation. In observance of Arbor Day and in commemoration of the Class of 2021, a Saucer Magnolia was planted on the south side of the Wilbur Cross Building today! The tree will bloom just before Commencement for years to come and its beautiful multi-stem form will provide year-round interest for students and alumni.
