This course covers social development in infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Topics include parent-child relationships, friendships and other peer relationships, gender, and aggression. The course is designed to advance students’ knowledge of theory and key social development concepts, as well as how these concepts may be applied to students' own lives. Assignments include exams, group discussions via Blackboard discussion board, and written personal reflections.
