Study Name: Treat to target and personalized approach to periodontal therapy

PI: Dr. Effie Ioannidou
Recruiting volunteers for a dental research study seeking adults without gum disease (periodontal disease). In this study, we want to compare people with and without gum disease to better understand gum disease treatment effects. Up to $25 compensation.
You may qualify if you:
- Are at least 21 years of age
- Have healthy gum tissue
- Are healthy and with no unstable medical conditions
Your participation may involve:
- A 1-hour screening visit and a 1-hr outpatient visit
- An oral exam, medical and dental history
- Dental plaque and stool collection
- No cost for participation
You may not qualify if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
