The Department of Nutritional Sciences is offering the following Summer course:
COURSE: NUSC 4236 – Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism
INSTRUCTOR: Dr. Christopher Blesso
CREDITS: 4 credit course
TIME: 14 week period, from May 10th until August 23rd
PREREQUISITES: NUSC 1165 and MCB 2000 or 3010 or instructor permission
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Learn the metabolism and functions of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, and vitamins during the absorptive and fasting states as well as during physical activity and at rest.
