Amidst the surge in anti-Asian violence across the nation, we would like to raise awareness, condemn the hate crimes, and support the Asian American communities.
The UConn Japanese Student Association is launching a Stop Asian Hate Fundraiser along with Binghamton University JA, Boston University JSA, and Stony Brook University JSO. All proceeds will go to Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE), a non-profit organization dedicated to "advancing racial, social, and economic justice for Asian Americans and other systematically disadvantaged communities."
