  • 3/28 Decolonizing Global Health Conference

Global Health Spaces on Campus (GloHSOC) is hosting its 4th annual Global Health Symposium!

We believe that global health is a diverse field with complex problems that require innovative and interdisciplinary solutions. To engage this diversity of skill in the field, this year GloHSOC is organizing our 4th Annual Global Health Symposium. The theme for this year’s Symposium is: Decolonizing Global Health. We will be focusing on the impact of colonialism, how it manifests itself in current local and global health disparities, and amplifying the voices of communities we seek to serve. This event will be held virtually this year, from Friday, March 26th through Sunday, March 28th. As part of this symposium, we will be featuring Keynote Speakers as well as panelists who are experts in various areas of global health. We will be having professionals from across the world speak at our virtual event. This will give students the opportunity to meet and connect with experts and gain new cultural perspectives as well.
