Volunteer Opportunities

  • 2/20 Meet a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate

Everyone wants an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than themselves. I would like to introduce you to the 3-day 2014 PeaceJam Conference, an opportunity for you to expand your views of the world and what it means to advocate for peace in a violence-ridden world.

By applying to be a PeaceJam mentor you:

    1)    Gain leadership/facilitation skills that will be an asset to you for the rest of your life.

    2)    Participate in an exciting and engaging volunteer experience that explores the concept of peace at a global level.

    3)    Form genuine relationships with high school students who are passionate about changing the world.

And most importantly, you would get the chance to meet an actual Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, former President of Costa Rica Oscar Arias. He won the Nobel for brokering peace agreements in the midst of Central America’s brutal civil wars.

This year’s themes are “Protecting the Earth's Environment and True Human Security.”

Now ask yourself, are you ready for PeaceJam 2014? Don’t miss out on this life-changing opportunity.

    Apply today! Deadline is: 2/20/14
