Tuesday, March 16 - Navigating the Career Fair as a CLAS Major
Hear from career fair employers as well as students who have had success at career fairs in the past. Center for Career Development career coaches will be present to discuss what to expect and how to prepare for the upcoming fairs. We’ll cover how to determine which employers to schedule a 10-minute appointment with, how to get conversations with employers started, what to say to secure an employer’s interest, offer some general tips for career fair success, and answer any specific questions you have. Wednesday, March 17 - Résumé Lab
Are you having trouble creating and editing your résumés? These sessions are open for 1 hour and can accommodate 15 students at a time. There will be a brief presentation to go over the basic sections of a résumé to start. Afterward, the lab is free to any and all questions or to work on your résumé. Take advantage of this time to ask your questions to our Career Interns and hear other student questions and examples. You can leave when you’re done! Click here to register in Handshake.

Monday, March 22 - Navigating Careers for the Common Good at the Spring Career Fair
The Careers for the Common Good Fair (sometimes known as the Non-Profit and Service Fair) will be held during the Spring all-University Career Fair this year. This is your opportunity to meet with organizations focused on serving the greater good, including not-for-profit organizations and benefit corporations!
